A Fundraiser Benefiting the Melinda Vaughn School Pollinator Fund
Help Us Bring Pollinator Gardens to Schools
With your support, we’ll keep expanding pollinator habitat and pollinator education in Minnesota – one schoolyard at a time. Gather with us at our 3rd annual fundraising event at Hoops Brewing’s Mill Room Lounge in Canal Park. A big thank you to Hoops Brewing for donating the space for our event!
Optional tickets are $20 and include a $15 donation to the Melinda Vaughn School Pollinator Fund as well as a beverage (beer, non-alcoholic cider, soda, and lemonade available). Light snacks will be served. Kids are welcome!
Hoops Brewing offers free validated parking to customers for up to three hours. Parking is located behind the brewery.
This year we’re excited to welcome Shoreview Natives owner Dan Schutte to the WINGSPAN event! He’ll be available to provide tips on and answer questions about how to develop a pollinator-friendly space in your yard using native plants.
A virtual silent auction is also part of our fundraiser and bidding will conclude at 5 p.m. the evening of the event. If you're attending the in-person event at Hoops Brewing, you can scan a QR code that will take you directly to our online auction, or you can start your bidding now!
Proceeds will be directed to our school pollinator garden grants program. For the 2024-2025 school year we’re focusing on Hermantown High School.
